OK so it seems a boutique is simply not enough anymore! French Connection have introduced an online experience through YouTube...named YouTique...which allows customers to really engage with the brand. Viewers can watch a number of clips relating to different occasions and garments whilst stylist Louise Roe talks you through the top tips and suggestions. Current topics include 'What to pack for a weekend trip' and 'What to wear on a night out'. During the video users have the chance to click 'buy' on a particular item and be routed through to purchase the product.I think this is a great idea and the videos are fun to watch even if you don't actually buy anything! Described as 'the worlds first personal shopping experience' it give customers that extra something they go in store for from the comfort of their home. I would like to see this kick off with other retailers and definitely makes shopping online a little more fun!
